St. Gabriel Lalemant Catholic Elementary School opened its doors in Niagara Falls in 1959 to accommodate growth throughout the city.
The school is named in honor of St. Gabriel Lalemant, a French Jesuit missionary who arrived in New France in 1646. Frail in body but incredibly strong in courage, spirit and devotion, St. Gabriel is of the eight Canadian Martyrs.
Over the years, the school has seen three major additions to support its growing community. Led by a team of professional Catholic educators, St. Gabriel Lalemant offers excellence in Catholic education in a caring, inclusive learning environment to more than 150 students in Kindergarten through Grade 8. Childcare at St. Gabriel Lalemant offered by the Boys & Girls Club of Niagara.
The Home of the Guardians (future Patriots) St. Gabriel Lalemant Catholic Elementary School is part of the Saint Paul Catholic High School family of schools and the Our Lady of the Scapular parish community.
